FFOSP is a specialized MFI that provides financial services to underserved households. Microfinance Program by FFOSP was iniated in 2003 to combat the incidence of poverty. It is guided by the principle that poor need opportunity, not charity. FFOSP seeks to eradicate poverty by providing basic financial services (loans and insurance products) to the poor through the processes of social mobilizaon and peer lending. In addion, FFOSP plans to provide these services through a business model that will, in the long run, enable it to be financially sustainable.
